"I don't have much time," she began.
"I don't know if you can hear me but, I just wanted to thank you. For everything." She found it hard to look at his bruised face. "I'm not sure what's going to happen. But all of this would've been for nothing if we can't destroy the Death Star." Her heart raced, knowing what she was walking into. Hearing a droid down the hall she panicked, taking her kyber crystal necklace off. "I'll come back. I promise." She leaned down to kiss his forehead leaving the necklace in his hand. Quickly she hid behind a curtain as the droid sauntered in. Once it turned its back Jyn took a last glance at Cassian and with hesitation escaped. Her ship left approximately in an hour. She had already packed her things. The journey ahead could be her last.

KAL-EL POV We stood over the destruction, over the saved and fallen, staring at and assessing each other. She wore what might be flatteringly acceptable for the climate, her white clothing pristine though she had just fought, the gold glimmering from an engraved belt around curved hips that reminded me of the one around my own. My eyes wandered to it, but I didn't want to seem...inappropriate. She looked like something out of a photo shoot, or a history book. Her eyes were amber in color, brown with a fire in them, her skin deeply sunkissed but not sunburned. By the time my eyes rose she was only inches from me, her hair falling about her shoulders because of the speed she used. She looked me over thoroughly, and I raised my chin and narrowed my eyes. Nothing but a small smile from her in response made me frown. "What is wrong, son of Jor-El?" her voice was soft but smooth. "You know who I am?" "Of course I do, it's right here--" She traced the "S" on my chest with a single finger and then trailed down to my belt and tapped it. "I'm sorry about your parents." She paused, touching my hair. "So, you are the last son of Krypton...and there is still no order here?" "Who are you?" "Can't read?" She asked, clucking her tongue as she put her hands on her hips. My eyes went down as she tapped her belt, but then I felt my cheeks flush. "Shame, Kal-El, shame." "What?" "Last son you may be, Kal-El, but I'm the last daughter." And she was gone in a flash of white and gold...quicker than the blink of an eye, a speeding bullet. Like me. NOTE: I am aware of the DC Comics version of Isis. I thought it was lacking. Here's my "what if" in the form of a revamp. I do not own the characters of DC. Of course, all characters are property of DC and Warner Brothers.

His face was just inches from mine. I smelled a fruity aroma coming from his hair. His perfectly shaped lips were too close for comfort. Kylo's brown eyes felt like they were piercing my soul. "You're no match for my strength. Don't bother fighting me." "I'm stronger than you think," I rebelled, trying to sound brave. Fear was literally eating me alive inside. His smirk said it all. Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.

I heard him. Barely, but I did. Those three words I had been hearing in my vision repeatedly throughout the years. You. Are. Mine. I trembled upon hearing those three words. I could feel his hunters gaze fixed upon my form, I was his prey. I stared back at him, recognizing so many details that I had seen in my visions. "Take off your mask, monster! Show me your face for you are in the presence of royalty! I am Princess Sylvari Alvaross of the Royal Light Bloodline. Respect will be shown!" I said haughtily. Without hesitation, Kylo knelt on one knee and began to take of his mask. A quick hiss came from a mechanism on his helmet as he slowly peeled it off to reveal his face. I was stunned. He had black shoulder length hair, dark hazel eyes that stared into my soul, the body of man well trained, and a strong nose. I was expecting a literal monster to appear before me. I had judged him too soon, his looks might have been appealing but his aura was as black as they come. He spoke firmly with intrigue in his eye; "Princess Sylvari Alvaross of the Royal Light Bloodline I have come to claim what is mine by destiny, you." I rose from my bed and walked straight up to him at the edge of my force field. "I am owned by no one," I huffed. With an evil chuckle he stood up; "My name is Kylo Ren, Master of the Knights of Ren, and Commander of The First Order," He said proudly. "Kylo...Ren. Finally, a name for the monster that plagued my visions," I thought internally. "Whatever power you think you have to stop me with, princess, I will break through and by the end of today I will have you in my grasp." He said confidently. Staring into each other's eyes, reaching deep inside each other for weakness, they both found none. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bewitching Affection is just a fun FanFiction story I write in my spare time during quarantine.
