Her back hit the bookshelf with a soft thud, sending a few books tumbling to the floor.

Rudransh didn't flinch.

His gaze was locked on her lips, one hand wrapped firmly around her waist, the other slowly dragging up her spine.

"You think I brought you here just to read?" he whispered, voice rough.

Nitya's breath caught as his thumb brushed the curve beneath her chin. "Then why did you?"

He leaned closer, lips barely grazing her ear. "Because this is the one place no one dares interrupt me."

Then, before she could say another word, his mouth crushed onto hers-demanding, raw, possessive.

Books watched. Shadows danced. Her hands found his shirt, fingers fisting the fabric as his teeth grazed her lower lip.
