After coming home from school to her grandma crying on her front porch, Elizabeth Hall is catepulted into a world she had never wished for as she found out about the tragic death of her parents earlier that day. Her older brother at college, her grandmother sends her across the country to small town Aspen, Colorado, to stay with her cousins. Still trying to get over how lost she feals, starting a new school, and jumping into a new life, Elizabeth finds friends and dreams she never knew she wished for.
