After multiple murders have been set aside to gather dust, Gerard couldn't stand to watch anymore. Lives were being treated so worthlessly and it drove Gerard insane. After uncovering a suspicious cycle in which these cases have produced, Gerard decides it's time to let this all end. There's no one else who has the same ability as Gerard and he finally accepts that now rather than later. With all his experience and knowledge, there's no way he's stopping until all criminals are locked up. But there's one problem...

Destiny

You can't escape destiny, even Gerard knew that. His thinking was logical the majority of the time, but only two things exist that he's aware of that aren't explainable.

People call him insane so by paper he's schizophrenic. People wouldn't believe him that he's normal, but even his reality checks deny that sometimes.

After seeking deep within any connections to the police, nothing was going to stop him.

I don't believe you're crazy. Your mind just does it's own thing, you know? If you deal with an issue, sometimes you'll figure it out or give in for awhile. Your head can generate different things whilst feeling certain emotions, memories ect. Any creation in your mind can come back but you can also control it. If you're happy then you're in control and content. Whenever the opposite, anything dark you've created slowly enters and you can never remember when it is they came back. You just remember forgetting them for a bit.
