Summary
When ancient warrior Xena and bard Gabrielle reunite in modern-day New York City, their timeless love reignites, They embody another body, with little memory of their past life. At first, they navigate this new existence with confusion and a sense of detachment, but as time passes, fragmented flashbacks begin to surface-memories of a different time, a different person, one they don't fully recognize. These flashes of the past are vivid and haunting: moments of joy, fear, and loss, but no clear answers about who they were. With each flashback, they struggle to reconcile their current identity with the growing shadow of their past self. Faces appear that they instinctively trust or fear without knowing why, and places feel familiar, yet foreign. The line between their present and past begins to blur, drawing them into a quest to uncover the truth about their former life, who they used to be, and why they were chosen to inhabit this new body.
