Nirmala is a quiet and shy lone lioness who finds herself at the Tree of Life after being rescued by the Night Pride. She has doubt in herself and falls in love for Surak, a member of the Night Pride and Queen Janna's son. But through some adventures with Surak and his family, especially when things go bad, Nirmala learns to be more brave on her training of being a healer.

Surak is a wise and serious lion who doesn't seem to be the one to show emotion too much. But when danger takes his brother away and he watches Nirmala learn healing, Surak finds himself falling for Nirmala and will realize showing emotion is a good thing
