It was pouring outside on my way to work. The sky was grey and the fog concealed everything within a ten-foot radius, but I trudged my way through it. Umbrella in one hand and my suitcase in the other. Nothing was going to stop me from this day, nothing at all. After all, I was about to make the greatest achievement a journalist can make. "The Day", one of the biggest magazines in the country, has just asked me to write a story that will be featured on the cover of their magazine. When I found out I nearly fainted, but I played it cool and agreed to meet them at there office at 6:00AM. Of course, I'm a little early, but I could hardly sleep last night with all these questions running through my head. Why did they pick me? Did someone put in a good word for me? What do they plan to have me write about? Finally, at 3:30 I figured I should just go ahead and get ready. So, here I am. Staring at the entrance of my dream.
