Lilia Buckingham has woken up in Washington Cavanaough Home for Girls with no memory of the past eighteen years. How did she get here? Where are her parents? How come none of the other girls have ever seen her before today? The only things that could lead to any answers is a picture of man who looks oddly like her, a butterfly locket that's engraved to Lilia, and a curly haired girl that arrives to the home days after. The home for girls itself is a little peculiar in a sense that girls randomly go missing or turn up dead at odd hours of the night. The girls attend a strict schedule at which times a chip in their arms is scanned. Failure to schedule can result in a night in the Alcoves. Lilia must figure out who she is and why she was sent to the home before she too becomes one of the missing posters that litter the walls. Can she do it is the real question.

#1 Mystery | #1 Thriller | #1 Young Adult Have you ever known someone more than you know yourself? Known them so inside out that you could finish their sentences and know what they're thinking, just with a glance? That was Casey and I. We were the ultimate best friends. We knew more than we should about each other. I was hopelessly and undeniably in love with him. I still remember the day perfectly. I wish I could say there was something to hint that it was coming. There was nothing. I thought I knew everything about him. Apparently not. He killed himself and a part of me died along with him. He was dead, and so was I. Or, so I thought. ** Cover by Reachingformorex ** © 2017 by LaurenJ22. All rights reserved.
