Vivian Page is a 10 year old in girl in 1943 France. Her mother is a young single woman, raped by her uncle to conceive her child. Vivian's mother sells her to an auctioneer in the underground world of human trafficking. She is mercifully bought by a not so pleasant couple and their daughters to serve as a servant. The youngest of the daughters, Esmée, gives Vivian her only comfort so far away from home. However, that comfort may put her in even more danger than she was previously- as Vivian finds herself surrounded by the Children of Ruth, a 'group' dedicated to starting a new world- one ruled by the idea of compassion and love for all. Though, as Vivian learns, not everyone qualifies 'all'.

He doesn't take it too well when his fated mate shows up unannounced, and he does what any asshole would do. He rejects her at first sight. How will the two manage with a rejection floating between them for the remainder of the school year? ************************************** A fast-paced romance with mature scenes, all based in a fantasy world. If that's your vibe this is your story to read. This is my second work and I had to get it out of my brain cause it's all I could think of while writing a completely different book, there will be slow updates.

Child is a steampunk sci-fi thriller. In second person, present tense, you, a mostly introverted, non-binary ten year old, are found at a train station with no belongings and no memory, by a nice woman in a WWI style gas mask. When nobody can find any leads as to who your parents are or where you came from, she adopts you as her own child. Your search for truth and need for belonging lead you on a bizarre adventure involving a group of train thieves, a message conveyed through ant trails, a group of unqualified astronauts, a chocolate milk-loving drag queen, and a lot of things you would give your left ear to unsee. I'm not sure what this is going to be when I'm done. I've finished the whole plot narrative, but I have to fix the writing, because it's too fast-paced and it's supposed to be slow. Constructive criticism is appreciated. I feel like I should say this so nobody gets confused: It isn't related to anything going on now. It's future/past. The mask thing is just a sci-fi thing.Complete
