Familiars weren't always seen as companions. 

Decades ago, they were essentially slaves in the world of magical beings.

But ever since the law passed to protect and help these creatures, they've been loved in the change of the times.

Minho had always grown up with familiars of each shape and size, for his parents owned a building dedicated to taking care of the animals. Being a soon-to-be apprentice at a sorcery college, where he, along with thousands of other freshmen, will receive their very own familiar.

Although most are ecstatic, Minho couldn't be any more conflicted.

There was only one familiar he was especially connected to, one that he had been practically raised with.

The soft squirrel familiar that had been saved in an alley way on a rainy night.

Although familiars all have a human form, it takes a lot of trust for a familiar to change.

Minho had seen Jisung once, but he's always been there for him.

So when the day comes, what is Minho to do when the squirrel gets assigned to a freshman that's attending the same college as him?

Get as close as possible, so he can stay with his long time friend.

Because Sungie has  always been there for him.

MinSung oneshots because I feel bad for filling up my stray kids oneshot book with them. - Minho could watch Jisung for hours. They way his eyes lit up when he came across something he loved, the way his voice raised with excitement. He loved the way his cheeks filled up like a squirrel when he ate food, like he was trying to savor so much of it at once. How wide his eyes got when he was arguing so passionately about something. Goodness, he loved this man. Jisung couldn't be ever more grateful for Minho. The way he always looked out for him, watching closely for his nervous antics. The man was a funny one, with his loud noises and wild facial expressions. He was never bored around him. He couldn't forget the way Minho smiled when he got shy or embarrassed, but always owned up to it afterwards. His clear love for being cute despite acting like he didn't. He loved him.

"I'm glad to see you Jisung" the figure said, their voice low and almost teasing. "Why am I here," Jisung muttered, glancing around. "Who are you?" The figure chuckled softly, though it didn't answer. Instead it jumped down from the cave and stepped closer, but the shadows seemed to cling to the figure, hiding its features. All Jisung could make out was his silhouette of sharp, lean lines. The only clear thing was those cat like eyes - bright, almost glowing but impossible to place. "Are you sure you're ready to know?" The figure whispered into his ear, putting his hand on his cheek. The action made a shiver run down Jisung's spine and his breaths getting heavier. "Why would I be here then?" He answered as he exhaled, closing his eyes trying to calm his heart. "We'll see sweetheart" he whispered again before turning into the fog. ___________________________________________ Or Jisung started to have weird dreams about one demon. His mother used to tell him stories about demons, saying if he somehow managed to meet one, he should ignore them and walk away from them. Jisung thought these stories were supposed to scare him when he was little to keep him out of the city when it was starting to get late, Jisung thought it was all fake. Until one day, when he managed to make some demon kind of obsessed over him.
