When John Tanner is summoned to a house by a realtor for a haunting, he comes across Detective Derek Rowels.

John is doing what he can to prove that the home is haunted, but it seems to only be visited by rats and the occasional homeless. At least, until he enters the vacant master bedroom, noticing someone's hand outside the bathroom and an odd smell lingering in the air. Detective Rowels is called over, and they both see a reflection of a pale woman with wild, brown hair in the mirror.

Then, they hear the crash in the stairwell.
