Here's a story based on my fucked up dream, please read it, I think it's actually good and freaky.

We've been invaded by aliens and we live in these little villages. Each village has a different "patron" with its own needs. The village that Jeremy, Millie, and Maximillian moved from had a patron with sexual needs and would rape a "chosen" victim. Rape became normalized.

The three characters were orphaned at a young age during the war, they saw their parents die in front of them when they were still living in an idyllic suburb. They came from different places, but came together when the new government put all the "problem children" in one place. They made a pact that they would survive this together. Their town was then claimed by the invaders, one was left stationed there. They didn't have names, and they didn't speak. The monster was hideous and lived on the edge of town. Most days were peaceful after the takeover, except for one night, when the moon was at its first or last quarter, a moment of change and turbulence. That's when the monster would rise up from his sleep and prowl through the town. All the lights were off, curtains drawn, doors locked. But of course, that never stopped him. He always found a way in to abuse you. You couldn't do anything to fight him, or it, because it could just snap your back in half. So, all you could do was lie there and just take it, and pray for it to be over soon. You would leave your body and watch from the outside, how he was overwhelming you, nearly swallowing you. You shut yourself down and closed.

Antique store owner Liz brings home a Victorian taxidermy hound from auction, unwittingly unleashing dark forces on her wife and son. ***** Nat Loman has finally married the love of her life, Liz, and is getting used to her role as stepmother to Liz's 5-year-old son, Liam. The Loman family runs a bustling antique business so they attend a sale where a striking, black taxidermied hound is up for auction. Liz picks it up for the business, but it ends up being stored in their home, where Nat notices strange things occurring. She quickly discovers the past residents had died violently. Then she hears from a friend about the myth of "the devil's dog", a hound that perches in the shadows, tearing families apart from the inside. Soon, people around the Lomans are dying, and Liz is changing, darkening. It's up to Nat to save the woman she loves from the darkness closing in, and to save Liam from danger no matter what she has to sacrifice.
