Project Orion

It has been almost 1,000 years since man first ventured into space. Life on Earth has changed dramatically since then. The year is 2957 and man has revolutionized the entire thought of space travel. Dreams that were once of traveling to Mars and Titan, have now become dreams of finding a new home. Humanity is being forced to leave mother Earth after Greed, Corruption, and a War for power engulf the planet destroying all of its natural resources. With time beginning to run out, humanity had no choice but to come together and search for a new home. After years and years of searching, scientist have found a promising candidate. A crew of 12 brave men and women are chosen to board the RMS Columbus and scout the new planet. Upon arriving to the new world they encounter a meteor shower causing heavy damage to the ship and forcing it to crash land on a strange frozen planet. With countless injuries and little resources the crew calls out for help. In a sudden act of betrayal the corrupted governments of the world turn their backs on the crew and refuse to save them. But after another S.O.S. signal is received by civilian scientist Jonathan Stewart he comes across an abandoned military base hidden in Death Valley. Inside the base he finds research records of Project Orion. Now equipped with the knowledge of what was once lost, he revolts against the government, rallies other citizens, and revives Project Orion with the hope of rescuing the brave men and women of the RMS Columbus.
