Rosie Lucinda Crawford or Lucy for short and her twin brother Connor Theodore Crawford are in the middle of class when Lucy's best friend, Val starts acting strange and attacks their teacher Mrs. Lawrens. Turns out that everyone who is displaying aggressive behaviour has been infected with what people are now calling the Come After No Nibblers In Badlands After Dark Virus or Cannibad Virus because cannibals are bad. Now there are a couple of 'Cannibads' to look out for: 1. The Crawlers, Crawlers can climb onto or over anything...well unless they don't have limbs. 2. The Draggers. Draggers will hide under anything they can, cars, chairs, tables, etc, you just have to be careful to stay away from those spots because they WILL grab at you. 3. The Lurkers. The Lurkers are the worst, they hunt in groups and will try to lure you away from your group, they will also watch from afar to learn things, like how to open a door.
