The Dewitt's were a dysfunctional family, no doubt. Malory was a spiteful drunk, angry at the world when the world had done nothing. Emit had been young and naive when he met Malory, now he was 29 and his whole world was his family; his son. Then there's Wesley Dewitt. Wesley was a mere 12 years of age and yet he understood and was aware of so much more then kids his own age. After a fateful trip to Cobalt Toys, something goes wrong. Something that changes not only the Dewitt family's lives but the lives of the people around them forever.
