Erik is a man who hates his job. He likes the work itself, but dealing with people makes him hate life. His life changes rather suddenly when he is killed by a demon, only to absorb its essence. From there he meets two gods, Order and Chaos, the arbiters of all life and life events, who are just as confused about what happened to him as he is.
