After her fifth attempt to enlist she gets the chance of a life time. She agrees to Project Rebirth and becomes Captain America. And, yeah, the world thinks she's a man but at least she's where she wants to be.

17 parts Complete Mature

"I want to spend forever with you, Stephanie. In this life and the next, because I know that not even death can separate us." Stephanie Rogers has wanted to serve in the war since her parents died doing just that. However, despite women now being accepted into the military, her medical issues made her ineligible no matter the times she tried. Now that her best friend, James (Bucky) Barnes, has gone off to serve as a Sergeant, it makes her more determined than ever. When Doctor Abraham approached Stephanie with a proposition: participate in the Science Reserves and become something children only dream of. How can Stephanie say no to that? Especially when it helps her get her one-way ticket into the war. However, on the night she says goodbye to Bucky, tensions between them rise. The unspoken attraction between the two of them pulls the two of them in like moths to a flame. But is it worth it? Falling head first into new heights without looking down? Disclaimer! I do not own the Marvel storyline; I only own Stephanie Rogers, a gender-bent variant of Steve Rogers from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I also own any changes to the storyline that differ from the original. Thank you! Enjoy the story, loves!
