When an ongoing trial hits the towns' news of a recent murder of Patricia Bronswell, everyone suspects Ashton Bailson. Everyone seems to believe he did the crime since for some reason at a young age he started killing people. No one knows what brought it him to do this; after all he had a perfect life or so to the eye. For some reason he doesn't stay in jail for long no matter what.
When Nykia Emerson hears of the trial she doesn't think things add up. Not caring really if she's caught or not she digs up the evidence to the case and starts to investigate. Finding clues that were not discovered previously, she ends up digging into Ashton's past, and gets herself mixed up in the new world brought to her eyes. She has to deal with uncovering lies, new friendships, and unbelievable secrets.
Alex Langurd gets recruited to tour Star Golscilla around town since she’s new to the area. He doesn't like the idea of having to go out of his way and tour a girl around town though. Meeting this new girl he gets reeled in and can't help being curious and sticks around. Becoming Star's partner in crime he goes through plenty of adventures and is in for a shock.
Through everything they end up forming a crew and meet more people who help the cause. With the ongoing trial Ashton is on parole till everything's settled. With the help of new friends things are revealed that have been hidden and discover a shocking secret.
