Grace has been hurt in the past. She doesn't want to date again because dating leads to feelings and feelings will lead her to heartbreak. Grant lost what he thought was love and his future family, and uses sex and submission to keep from falling in love again. He puts his arm around my shoulder as he smiles back at her. She finally looks at me like this is the first time that she notices I am even at the table. I smile at her. No use getting mad over it. He is gorgeous and we aren't an actual couple. So it should not matter to me, right? "Grace!" Sandra exclaims. She is clearly embarrassed at my comment to the waitress. Grant isn't He just laughs. I think he is enjoying it. "Sorry." Now Mitchell is laughing. "I think you may have just met your match, Grant." Grant smiles and winks at me. "This is going to be a lot of fun."
