Luna Luthor is a teenager who has been in and out of the foster care system throught her life. She never truly knew what a family was like until Kara Danvers came into her life. Only then was she given the opportunity to get to know her mother and learn what it is like to be happy.

Kara had never really been that interested in sex. She didn't dislike it or anything, just never really understood what all the fuss was about. Eliza had fondly called her "a late bloomer" which Kara had accepted as the truth, not wanting to face the ideas of what it could be otherwise.
