Kenny lived as normal a life as anyone could live, but after a skeletal figure in the sky summoned demonic creatures as well as take over the minds of humans turning them into mindless slaves to do his bidding, Kenny's life went from normal to straight up terrifying, now having to survive on his own in a desolate land over-run by creatures he doesn't know how to defend himself from. Mainly with hand-to-hand combat training. You were never allowed to do anything of the sort when at the hands of your mother, so it was nice for a change. But what were they training you for? The war. No one knew you were the princess, and they were expecting to have you frontline back into the kingdom you tried so hard to escape from to fight in the war. Escaping now to anywhere else in the world seemed to be the only good option. One person in particular wasn't going to let you do that. I woke up in the morning and I was a demon.
This is the tale of a girl who discovered they were no longer just a regular person when they awoke one morning. I mean waking up with wings, fangs, and fireproof skin wasn't exactly on my to-do list. Suddenly, I'm breaking doorknobs, eating enough ramen to shock the shop owner, and googling "how to demon 101." Life as an awkward otaku was tough enough-now I'm stuck figuring out what I've turned into and whether I can still pass as human. Curse or blessing, one thing's clear: my life just got a whole lot weirder. At least ramen still tastes the same.
