Olivia and her mom left California over two years ago. Olivia was, and still kind of is, a mess. She took off without a word to her four best friends and has ignored them ever since. She couldn't speak to them and not tell them the truth. The truth about why she left and the truth about how she feels about them.

She spiraled after they left. When they reach the breaking point, and Olivia is kicked out of school, her mom has decided that a job opportunity is just the right excuse to take Olivia back to the city they left behind and hopefully surround her with her old friends.
