19 year old Carmen was born with an extremely rare form of colorblindness, Cone monochromacy, she can't see any color at all. She didn't have the easiest childhood. Her relationship with her parents has always been strained, but since coming out as gay it has been non-existent. At seventeen she was thrown out of her childhood home, to live on the streets, until she met her best friend Owen and his family who took her in and let her live with them.
Owen gets a big job opportunity in the city, so together they move into a shoebox of an apartment. Carmen gets a job at a small corner café where she catches the eye of a girl. The girl is a regular costumer, and Carmen slowly builds up the courage to talk to her about anything other than her coffee order. She starts to develop feelings for this girl, at the same time as she starts to see colors for the first time in her life. She doesn't tell anyone about this in the fear that it might not be real. As the relationship with this girl progresses, so does her color vision.
Follow Carmen on a beautiful journey to become comfortable with herself and discover love.
