"Before she could react, he had her. His hand was tight around her wrist, fingers digging into her skin with a force that felt like it might crush her bones. She fought, yanking against his grip, trying to twist free, but it was no use. His strength was overwhelming. He was holding her effortlessly, as though she were no more than a child struggling in the grip of a parent. Tears blurred her vision, streaking down her cheeks as she whimpered, her body instinctively jerking away from him, her feet scrambling against the floor, but he was unwavering. He didn't let go. He didn't even flinch. He just held her there, like a doll in his hands. Inès' breath hitched in her throat. The tears flowed freely now, streaming down her face as she struggled, her chest heaving in frantic gasps. She was desperate to break free, to get away from him, but she was too weak. He had her completely in his grasp. And he wasn't letting go." - Chapter 30 Original Story
