Sixteen year old Sierra Smith was your typical sophomore in high school. She had friends, a boyfriend, and an older brother who was one of the most popular guys due to being the quarterback of the football team.
But her brother was on drugs, and their parents were getting sick of it. So they ship him off to rehab in hopes that it would help him get clean. The only reason she was kind of a somebody was because of her brother, and now that he's out of the picture, everything in her life changes.
Add in a couple of secrets and her brother's best friend, Sierra soon realizes that there were things about her brother she didn't know, and she begins to think that maybe they're not as close as she thought they were.
