I should be dead. At least, that's what the government officials told me in the super-secret lab where I woke up strapped to a mattress in a windowless room...Sound problematic to anyone else? Like I told the psychos experimenting on me, I've got zero clue how I got my new powers, but I'm sure-as-shit not going to let them turn me into a deadly weapon (or squeeze me into a spangly jumpsuit). Problem is, I'm not so great at controlling whatever the hell it is I've become...Not to mention I'm on the run from my country for a teensy-weensy act of treason while being chased by a shadowy masked mute who may or may not have superhuman abilities too (but is definitely stupid hot under his off-putting disguise). But not this time. This is a new story. The Life of a Villain. Part 1: This is a story about Leonardo Sutton a.k.a Knifeslinger, an 18 year old villain out for revenge for his family's death. He goes undercover at Ravenswood Academy where he meets new friends and old friends, and an evil plot that could shake the world. Part 2: Life was finally starting to settle down(ish) in the few days of freedom, but of course normality can't be something for ex-villain Leonardo Sutton. A Guide to Being Super
Every city has its claim to fame and for the city of Cytropolis it's their superheroes. But unlike the cities of Gotham and Central City, this isn't a good thing. Cytropolis is known far and wide as the city with the clumsiest and least influential superheroes ever. But it never mattered that much since the super villains were just as bad. That is, until recently when the villains decided to smarten up and open a super villain academy to train the newest generation (something that never occurred to the heroes). Luckily for them, Matt Miller has arrived. He may seem like an average, normal (even bordering on boring) seventeen-year-old boy, but when are things ever what they seem? He may be apathetic and bitter but he has super powers and he's kind of, well, powerful. He's the heroes only hope against the newest villain in town, Sinister Shadow, and he has no choice but to lend a hand (but he refuses to wear tights while he does it, he draws the line at tights). Now, not only does he have to deal with school, his almost non existent social life and his aggravating younger brother, but he also has to fight super villains and learn to control his new found powers to avoid blowing his cover to the world...and it is a lot harder than he anticipated. Prepare for a roller coaster ride of lame one liners and painfully awkward adolescent behaviour, along with bromances and romances, breakups and make ups, and even some cliché superhero behaviour, villains who hold a grudge, and really dorky super suits.
