Clint is very alone as he raises Damien and waits for Emerald to return from her quest for vengeance.  Instead, he gets a visit from a person everyone thought was dead: Loki!  Loki tells Clint that he needs his help in order to stop another god, Vioarr, the God of Revenge, from killing Thor and taking his place as the Crown Prince of Asgard.  Clint reluctantly agrees and soon finds himself wrapped in Asgardian intrigue and lies.  Loki will aid him from the shadows, maintaining his cover of being dead, but will Clint be able to handle himself in the twisted web of magic and myth?
