Not all stories have a happy ending. Sometimes, on rare occasions, you get that one story that doesn't end with "And they lived happily ever after." This story is one of such.

Error was living a normal life, in his eyes at least, that was until his loved one disappeared from very existence itself. Having searched to the farthest corners of the multiverse, questioned every entity that understood his language, and slaughtered anyone who got in his way, the God of Destruction finally succumbed to defeat and made his way back to the small room in between reality he called his home. That place is where he went dormant for the next decade.

Having noticed his absence, Dream, the God of Positivity-better known as The God of Hopes and Dreams-would seek out the former Destruction God. First starting with the Anti-Void, or the place of Error's residence. What he was met with was not the prettiest of sights.

Maybe Dream's little plan that lasted a good while wasn't the smartest of choices. Whatever that could possibly mean.All Rights Reserved

to the new people that have come across this, it is very cringe apologies ig also to. the new people why do u read this it clearly says discontinued you masochists- there's also only ten actual chapters so sry if u got ur hopes up or smthn l o l 5 years ago Error threw himself into the void finally giving up... but he was saved by destiny... and brought to a multiverse where fate has no control... in this multiverse there was a highschool full aid a bunch of different sanses and papyrus' some were teachers some were students... but Erratum (Error) soon found out that Dust lived in a abusive house hold.. so Erratum Adopted him. Present time... Erratum has a nightmare... but it was actually a memory... he dreamt of the battle that happened right before he jumped though what Erratum did in the Dream he did in real life as well... Dust heard the all the noise and looked to see his new found father walking threw a portal to a white space.. dust tried to grab him but was instead pulled threw to the other side... BTW Fgod Error belongs to Harrish6 I think is their name I dunno Oh! And we don't want fate to mess with him sooo uhhh fate ummm got beaten up by destiny and the others and locked her a way for good so she can't hurt Error/ Erratum anymore yayyy

Dream always felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders and they've only grown worse now that he's a Star Sans. Save this AU, rescue that person, stop Nightmare over there, and make X person smile! It's a never-ending cycle of tasks and he gets asked more about why he hasn't done it sooner or defeated his brother yet than thanked for what he accomplished. He feels trapped in this position and doubts if he didn't have his positive aura that anyone would care for him. Most like him for the joy he brings or what he can give them. Nobody around him ever feels genuine without a doubt in his head. Add in the stress of protecting one Star Sans(Swap) and keeping the other(Ink) from starting trouble and you have a positive guardian ready to break under expectations. Then you have Error, the destroyer of AUs. His reputation speaks for himself and builds all the expectations he needs whenever he steps foot into another AU. He's as bad an omen as a black cat crossing your path. Others assume he is bad because of his "freakish" or glitching appearance. He has accepted these but it gets tiring when he already has the voices bossing him around or Fate reminding him that he should do more destruction. But he doesn't limit himself to destruction. He watches UnderNovela, admires the stars, and appreciates what he can. He pushes the limits of what is expected of him or disregards them completely. A trait that Dream eventually finds himself admiring in him, the known enemy of his friend. He knows that Error's feelings are genuine since he doesn't change in his presence(still an angry manchild). So when Dream gets wounded and stuck with Error on a whim, where will it take them? Will it be a mistake remaining in a hatred of enemies or will it change them both for the better? Could this admiration open Error up to corrupting Dream or will he be the influence Dream needs to against expectations and live for himself?

Dream wasn't expecting to find Error when he located the negativity source. He definitely didn't expect to find the so called Destroyer curled up on the ground, glitching horribly and motionless. Error doesn't understand why an anomaly is so willing to help him. But something about Dream ends up making his soul flutter. Perhaps positivity and destruction can get along, even with the struggles that come with it...

The Multiverse for a long time has been an endless loop. Both inside the AUs and in itself. Error and Ink making a truce then breaking it in any possible way. The Dreamtale twins fight until Nightmare dies and Dream sacrifices his soul to plant a new tree of Feelings recreating a cycle. But, among everyone, there is one person who remembers each loop that took place and after a few centuries of trying to figure out what to do, he finally got it. He will break those endless cycles and try to finally give the Multiverse some peace. This is the story of that attempt. Will it work or will it all just be another pointless attempt to change what is meant to be ? ___________________________________________________________________ This story will contain only a small amount of shipping because this is nowhere near of being the main focus, sorry. So I have been given permission to write this from Waffurupanson. Check out their book Sleepwalker. It's REALLY REALLY good! I read it twice. An AU where Error is not conscious with his destruction. He's asleep during it. On a conscious level, he's never left the Anti-Void. As a result, he's clueless. Side note: all characters and art belong to their respectful owners. Summary: He didn't know who this being was or how they found him but they were scaring him to the point he was going to cry. The last think he remembered was being in the Anti-Void and then waking up here with this living being. He just wants to go back to his Anti-Void.
