There is a lonely girl with the power to see ghosts. When she bumps into a boy who hides his pointy ears and two brothers, they become friends and do many adventures together. Then their adventures are cut short by the pale, faceless man, Slenderman. One of the brothers die from the pale man, and there is a "series of unfortunate events" (XD) that happens to the friends.
