Peyton knows she doesn't belong on her aunt's ranch and farm in Texas. She's used to being pampered everywhere, at home, by the people here, in stores, everywhere, everyone. Well... actually, not exactly everyone.

Meet Joey, the easy-going farm hand that Peyton takes an immediate disliking to. He's always poking fun about her lack of knowlege about farms and ranches, cracks a bunch of corny jokes, and most of all, treats her like she's just a regular person. He couldn't care less that she's won fifty beauty pagents or that her dad's the owner and founder of BLK Records, the largest music retailer, or the fact that she's a size 3, or that she's had more boys asking her out than the entire population of this town, so getting what she wants is not as easy.
