The wandering follows three youth on the cusp of adulthood. The dreamer, Briar Solaphine, ready to bring her ever bright imagination into the real world, to tell stories far and wide. The illusionist, Griffin Meadows, haunted by the loss of her best friend and soulmate, determined to fulfill her dream and fill the world with magic and wonder but wanting desperately to make her own parents proud. The Wanderer, Vex Celene, a boy with no clue what to do next. Having no plan but to roam the world listlessly to desperately try to find a purpose.
Follow their journeys as hearts break, trust is broken and legacies are made. The wandering is all about getting lost in yourself and finding yourself in anyway you can.

The Gray
My 2008 NANOWRIMO project: The Gray is a 'low' fantasy novel in spite of dragons and magic and horror. Giant spells won't be saving the day, and there's no mighty magic swords, in fact most spells aren't even out there in your face, they're implied. The Gray is set in a lone human city in a world where being human is stranger and and less common than being an elf, or almost anything else. Their community is Isolated, and protected by a a group of trained fighters and scouts with specific roles, who give up their own names when they take on The Gray. Walker, one of the scouts of The Gray, accidentally stumbles across signs that their way of life, and maybe even the world, may be threatened, and is quickly forced to face the fact that trying to save his home and people may require loosing them forever.Complete

This is my first upload on a site like this and i would just like to get some fed back. I write a lot, this ones kinda like a side story. I'm going to admit I always feel rather stupid when my friends read my stuff because I'm always sure its awful and they just aren't going to tell me so this seemed the best way to get some more honest fed back. always looking for advice if anyone is willing to give it. When Evita starts asking questions Evelyn Sheer, the head of the city's Department of Energy, takes her captive and places her in a secret, underground research facility. Evelyn Sheer and the researchers are trying to create a genetic modification that enables humans to photosynthesize. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem.
