This is a story I started writing three years ago, back when I was a sixth-grader whose brain was rotting in quarantine. I unfortunately never finished it. I didn't even get to the climax. Y'know how a lot of people cringe at their old works because of how silly or stupid their plot/writing style was? Three years later, as a ninth-grader, I didn't experience the same. The story had potential, so I decided to rewrite it in my newer style, and depending on motivation, I might actually finish it.

When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. So if you are a little squeamish I don't recommend reading this. Sorry it took so long to post I wrote this a long time ago back in high school and I wrote this as a script not a book.
