I looked over at her standing next to me and that's when I realized she was a holding a gun aimed at the professor. Chase grabbed my arm and pulled me into the furthest corner away from her.
"This is fucking crazy!"
"Where did you get a gun?"
"What if you shoot him and the disease becomes airborne from his blood?!"
Everyone started screaming in outrage as the events unfolded before our eyes.

"Pierce, please I'm trying to study." I let out an aggravated sigh as my eyes flickered upward from the white-colored pages of my textbook. I waited for Pierce to say something but he didn't before hanging up and grabbing my leather jacket off the chair that was nearby, throwing it over to me. "We need to go. NOW." Pierce stated, his voice demanding and cold as he reached for his keys and walked out of the apartment.
