"Escaped? Who?"

"Mika Mendes, 18. That patient in ward no.301. Sir, I made sure she had the sleeping pills tonight. How--"

"That patient who was filing missing complaints of people who didn't exist?"

"Yes sir. The Hospital's reputation is in danger now, if anyone knows about it."

                                           *******
Unable to sustain herself in Monterrey after dropping out of University, Mika returns to Vineville, the town she has been born and raised in. Eight years have flown by, since Mika left Vineville for Monterrey to forget a violent family tragedy.

But her native town feels strangely changed to her, she says. She notices earthquakes happening nightly, crowds of deep red spirals on most houses, and many churches destroyed, an impossible thing for the deeply religious Vineville of three years ago. When citizens start disappearing, and no one seems remember them afterwards, Mika teams up with an old friend Sam, who helps her escape from the Vineville Psychiatric Hospital, to find answers.
