Dana is 19, from the wrong side of life, not just the tracks. Dead father and coke addict mother, not much cheers her up these days other than getting somewhere else and doing it fast. She meets Ellie and the "others" traveling through a carnival like town in Florida. Their connection strengthens as she builds relationships with everyone but time is a fragile thing and morality even more so.
