My name is Flak Tartrum. I'm 15 years old and you would not want to be me. First, there's this thing called the lightning curse that's plagued me for nearly all my life, striking lightning down at me everyday. Second, I'm a demigod apparently and that means I live life on the edge. Everyday if I'm not near a hearth, I could get attacked by monsters any time and I've got the battle scars to prove it. Lastly, you remember what I said about the lightning curse?

Yeah, it got worse. Much, much worse.

--------------------------
So, I started rereading Rick Riordan's books. My favorite's Magnus Chase but I know more about greek gods than norse so here it is. All inspired, I consider it a homage. I wouldn't say it's a ripoff. Might go on a writing craze sometime.

Nico di Angelo is finally happy. He's learning to accept himself for his sexuality and as a son of Hades. After everything horrible that has happened to him, he's slowly getting better with the help of Will and his friends. Will Solace finally got the boy of his dreams. The boy he had a crush on since he was 11 years old. He's starting to realize that he isn't as useless as he thinks he is, and that he's actually worth something. Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. Spoilers for basically every Percy Jackson book, including Tower of Nero. ⚠️ Trigger Warning ⚠️ death, homophobia, mental health issues that includes but not limited to PTSD and depression, heavy angst later on, brief harassment and brief physical violence (someone gets slapped once). Thank you so much, Selene (aka @riptide2406) for all of the help! I couldn't have done this without you! Everyone, go check out her page and follow her! She's super cool, and one of the very best friends I have on here! All character, world and basically everything rights goes to the amazing Rick Troll Riordan, except for the plot points I made and the characters I created. Art credits to unknown artist, please tell me if you know who made it.

The Devil Of The Sea

70 parts Ongoing Mature

Some of you may know my brother's side of the story, but this is mine. My name is (Y/N) Jackson. Son of Poseidon. Brother of Percy Jackson. The one monsters call the Devil of the Sea. I was raised at Camp Half-Blood, but the world had different plans for me. At five, I left camp, drawn by the call of a weapon hidden in a lake. The moment I grasped it, my fate was sealed. A Hydra ate me, killed it from the inside, and claimed my place as a son of the sea god. That was only the beginning. I've survived things even demigods shouldn't. Captured by monsters, hunted by those who should have been allies, betrayed by a friend I once trusted, and faced prophecy that threatened to tear me apart. I've known love, lost it, and found something worth fighting for again. This is not my brother's side. This is mine. Disclaimer: I don't own any characters from the Percy Jackson series that all goes Rick Riordan.
