Break them, and you'll be sent to the Outside, a barren wasteland where all who've been exiled there have allegedly died of hunger, thirst, or were killed by rogue "Outsiders". When a new rule pushes her limits too far, Nox is forced to make a choice: lose the person she cares about most, or be exiled to the Outside to fend for herself.
