Some time in the 90's. Laura Buckingham, the daughter of the famous musician Lindsey Buckingham, finds a new passion, through which she brings back a huge part of her father's past.

***Another In Your Dreams era tale*** Stevie Nicks has spent the better part of 2010 having the time of her life. After agreeing to create her first studio album in a decade in her luxurious Santa Monica home, Dave Stewart has added immeasurably to her life and her art, but there is still one thing they haven't gotten a handle on - "Soldier's Angel". Stevie knows that there is only one person on earth who has ever understood her and her art enough to be able to save the song that means so much to her... His name is Lindsey Buckingham. When Stevie calls Lindsey to come over and help her with the song, things get very emotional very quickly because - as revealed in flashbacks from Fleetwood Mac's 2009 tour - there is a lot of unfinished business between them, and it is the kind of unfinished business that will leave both of them questioning if the events that transpired one night on tour represent the worst mistake they've ever made, or the first step towards a reconciliation. "Just like nothing's changed after all these years...and you're not to blame..."

Mid 80s. Lindsey decides to quit the band and Stevie doesn't take it very lightly.

With Lindsey Buckingham's 1987 departure from Fleetwood Mac, Stevie finds herself living with a few significant changes, good and bad - The birth of their daughter Sara as their two older children are becoming tweens, the Shake The Cage Tour in which Stevie must learn how to be a part of Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey for the first time since joining the band, and recording a new solo album with producer Rupert Hine, which leads to the classic jealous streak in Lindsey that's threatened their relationship before. These and other reasons are what drive Stevie to take the advice of a doctor who has prescribed her a dangerous medication that begins to strip away at her spark, her creative energy...and her energy in general. In 1988-1989, in the alternate universe of Buckingham Nicks, the rooms are all on fire.

Around 2010. Lindsey gets a reality check and the only person he wants is Stevie.

Stevie's solo career has been thriving, and they have been raising two teenagers and a very rambunctious and creative and different little girl, Lindsey at home in his studio happily being a stay-at-home dad and making his own music. But when MTV approaches the band for a televised reunion concert and a subsequent tour unfolds, Stevie and Lindsey must navigate not just a resurgence of their careers in middle age but the perils of parenthood - as well as a late-in-life visit from the stork - and somehow keep alive the spark, the love, the undying passion that makes them Buckingham Nicks.
