Jenny had lost herself in him first. And Valen had fallen in love after. But more than that. Much more. She was light, he was shadow. But when they touched, the boundaries blurred, like the sea caressing the moon without ever truly belonging to it. Jenny was an angel, but no one knew angels could tremble. He let her innocence get caught in his sharp edges, let her hands brush against his scars as if she wasn't afraid of cutting herself. Jenny had lost herself in him, but Valen had found himself in Jenny. But he couldn't allow it. In Valen's arms, amidst all that chaos, Jenny found peace. Her eyes seem to be possessed with something, as the sun's rays reflect off the glassy surface, ashamed to be in her presence. Inside, stars revolve deep inside the vast galaxy she has managed to create, and as I trudge deeper into the depths of unknown, time and reality seem to pause and bow before her. A tinge of rose-inflicted water swirls in her eyes and blurs my vision, but her aura is somehow sweet. Like candy, her addictive smile lure all who see her, and her layered personality is timid, shy, and delicate. But don't be fooled, once she warms up, she is chirpy, and cheerful. But life is a deceiving creature. A lie. Because whilst her body portrays a perfect, shameless, care-free girl, her soul is slowly dying. When I realized that she'd be enrolling at Yuko High, my blood levels spiked. However, it turns out that the girl I thought I knew was long gone. People change, and nothing stays the same.
