It started as a Dare- a kiss that didn't quite go as planned. Only I and one other person witness the truth behind the rumour that got out of hand. My childhood best friend had kissed me and I kissed him back but that wasn't the problem. The problems came afterwards. Hope is your average teenager who has a passion for reading and television. She is your average teen in a small town whose in love with her childhood best friend Lucas...naturally. Lucas isn't the average teen he appears to be. He is harboring a dark past that changes him in more ways than one. Physically, mentally, or emotionally you decide. That doesn't change the fact that he loves Hope. The pairs problems only escalate from here on out. When Lucas starts to black out and not remember certain incidents everything seems to go downhill. Can Hope figure out what is happening to the love of her life before it's too late? Will the love between these two be able to conquer the darkness that is threatening to implode?
