After dominating a cut throat art industry for years, rich painter Oliver Stanton takes a leave of absence, or so the public was told. The real reason was because he was undergoing a mental breakdown, and was descending into Schizophrenic episodes. While Oliver will tell you it's stress from the public eye, there's more to this story. He is able to persist and fend off the mania, but to vanquish it for good he has to travel back into his past and simultaneously find a way to keep control of his psyche as he navigates his own web of lies that he was forced to create to escape from the truth. With help coming from the most unexpected places, the scattered pieces of his mind may indeed be salvageable. Schism is a break from reality when the problem is too big to see clearly, with an elegantly wayward charm, Oliver stumbles through his own rediscovery in this modern drama to reach closure with his mind and ultimately the affairs of his life.
