Cinderella was a normally happy girl until her mother died of cancer when she was 10. Since then nothing has been the same. Her father got remarried to a gold digger and was rarely ever home leaving the gold digger and her children to abuse Cinderella however they pleased.
One day a prince happened to walk by, sees her situation and decides to stick around. Is is love, pity, or something more sinister? Why is it that he seems so dead set on being around her? Why are his emotions moved by her? What is he willing to do for her?
Cinderella will soon find out that there's no fairy godmother coming to save her and happily ever afters are nothing but lies.
This story is a Fractured Fairytale that's based on the Grim original with elements of the original Disney version.
