Xavier Jacobson's life was finally coming together. His boyfriend, Aidan, lived with him, it was summer, and everything just felt okay.

Then his dad came back. Xavier didn't know what to expect. His dad coming back could either be good, or terribly bad. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst is what explains his feeling about it. But it's inevitable. Xavier just has to keep calm.
