A New World (TMNT meets Sonic crossover)

Months have passed since the Turtles have defeated their arch nemesis Shredder and all is well in New York City. However though, things are not as peaceful as the Turtles could hope for. One night while out on patrol a mysterious vortex portal is activated sending the four brothers into another world full of Mobians who struggle to keep Dr. Eggman at bay but luck is on their side once all of Team Sonic including Sonic himself discover the Turtles.
Join the Turtles Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo in their battles side by side with the Mobian heroes Sonic the hedgehog, Amy Rose, Tails the fox, Sticks the badger and Knuckles The echidna as they face the evil Dr. Eggman every day in order to keep the world safe from harm while also even, in some cases, dealing with Metal Sonic the Badnik and Shadow the Ultimate Lifeform and prepare for awesome teamwork between the beloved heroes from two different worlds!
Note: This takes place after the TMNT 2012 show and during Sonic Boom, I don't know much about TMNT honestly so forgive me if I get the Turtles' personalities wrong and if you don't like Sonic Boom you don't have to read it, this story is towards people who do like Sonic Boom but I won't make it stupid like how a lot of people thinks it is in this story so please give it a chance. And one thing is that updates might be slow so I apologize if it takes a little while for a new chapter to come out. Enjoy! :)
(TMNT belongs to Nickelodeon and Sonic Boom belongs to Sega and Cartoon Network so this story is just a fan fiction/crossover thing)

Maria Sanava is a country girl, but unlike her parents, she isn't interested in working on an apple farm her whole life. She wants to do something that makes a mark on the world. (Zootopia anyone?) All her life she has been involved in extracurriculars, top of her classes in everything. She took art, english, math, science, forensic science, physics, philosophy, history, and even a few martial arts. But she couldn't ever figure out what it was that she wanted to do. But that would change when she accompanied her parents and little brother on a trip to New York for a large shipment of apples and a business offer for her parents. The two week trip gets turned around when she meets Leonardo and his family, who just can't figure out what the foot clan is doing, chasing after some random apple girl from the country. Tnmt 2012 Season 1: An alien/magical leader
Angel Kokomo is back, but as Ninja Turtles and April O'Neil, the oldest sister and a very, very special member of the hamato clan. The story starts with the turtles (Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo) leaving their lair for the first time, and they immediately come into conflict with the Kraang, an alien race who are kidnapping Angel's adopted younger sister April O'Neil and her father Kirby, with Donatello developing a crush on the former, they are unable to stop the Kraang. In order to work well as a team, Splinter chooses Angel as their leader, they are able to save her sister April but not Kirby and become friends regardless. Their first encounter with the Kraang leads the Shredder to discovering his old enemy's hideout. During the course of the story, the turtles and Angel learn more about the history between Splinter and the Shredder, that they were like brothers but their love for Tang Shen caused them to become enemies and the latter accidentally killed Tang Shen. The turtles and Angel meet Leatherhead, a mutant alligator who becomes an ally. The turtles and Angel are usually thwarting Kraang, the Foot or mutants created by the mutagen, the turtles and Angel also meet Karai, Shredder's adopted daughter who is not as hostile as the rest of the Foot with them until they betray her to take Shredder out. The turtles and Angel eventually meet Kraang Prime, the Kraang's hive mind who using Technodrome tries to invade Earth but is thwarted, Splinter also faces Shredder for the first time after many years and learns that Karai is actually Miwa, his daughter.
