Episode 3 of the Earth-56 saga
It's been three days since Stephen and the Avengers defeated Thanos. The sorcerer is looking forward to some stability at last, but with the dust settled, nothing seems sure anymore. Stephen finds himself questioning not only everything about him and Tony, but everything about himself. While Tony struggles to understand his sudden change as he drifts farther away, the sorcerer supreme is falling apart, and in his line of work that comes with repercussions. Stephen has to figure this out before his and Tony's fight ends up destroying New York City - or worse, the dimension.

It was clear that the events of New York had left Tony with severe PTSD and anxiety, but the events didn't effect Emma as much anymore because she had Pepper Potts to help her. But it seemed that no matter how much she helped him, Pepper wasn't able to get through to Tony. Not helping their problems, a new threat came to be; a powerful terrorist leader named the Mandarin has been responsible for multiple bombings. Tony fears that Pepper might leave him and take Emma with her because she's had enough, especially when she gets visited by an old interest, Killian. After Happy Hogan was severely injured by one of the bombings, an angry Tony gave a threatening promise to Mandarin on the news, which later caused a terrorist attack on Tony's own house, with Pepper and Emma inside. Everyone was left thinking Tony was dead, but he left Pepper and Emma a message, telling them he was alive.
