Chance POV *Flashback* I can't do this anymore Sean, besides I'm happier with De'Andre. Just let me leave in peace, I don't want Chance he will just get in the way of me and De'Andre future. *End of Flashback* That was the last thing I remember hearing from my mother before she left me and my father. I was only seven years old. My father was the most well known and respected Kingpin of the West Coast slowly taking over the East Coast. However, when my mom left this caused his downfall. My dad slowly fell into depression, running his business into the grave. Seeing him collapse so easily from a woman tore me apart. When I turned 16 my father couldn't take the pain anymore and shot himself twice in the head. With my mother nowhere to be found and my father dead I was taken in by my grandmother. She was old and could barely raise me so I turned to the streets. Seeing my father broken and torn I realized bitches ain't shit. The only thing that will make me happy is my money. No hoe going to look out for me better than myself.

"Halima just called me." She spoke up, talking about my sister. "She said your mom wanted to talk to me." "Oh yeah.." I trailed off, thinking about what my brother had just told me. "She wun' see you and Mya." I told her, already knowing what it was my mama wanted from her. "Yeah, I know. We just talked." She spoke surely as I licked my lips slowly, waiting for what she was going to say next. I already knew she wasn't feeling it. "It's just-" "I don't want to go down there and you-" She started but stopped as I waited for her to speak. "-you get involved with them again." She spoke truthfully, saying shit that I already knew she would. I already knew she was gone bring that shit up. She always do. "I don't trust Delante or any of your stupid ass friends because they are only interested in taking you backwards, Cain." "And I'm not going for that again." "I'm not." She spoke seriously and I sighed deeply, really used to hearing this shit already. "We're at a better place in our lives and I'm not playing those street games anymore."
