It's a bit harder than I thought to find a story where the heroes have to deal with long term consequences. Most stories seem to like; short choices, short consequences, and everyone is left wondering what will happen years later. It isn't as realistic to have a story just, END. That would feel too "staged." Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. So what about this story is so different from the others? Well in this book, now, this SERIES, I decided to focus on how the past is impacting the present. It could be big decisions like going to war or not, or it could be small, like simply forgetting to tell your friend thanks every now and then.
