To Gin, Aki and Chérie were the ones who destroyed her belief in love-her love's executioners. Aki was the burden she couldn't escape, the shadow she found herself slipping into. Chérie was the betrayal that cut the deepest, a wound that time could dull but never erase. They had left their marks on her, not just as memories, but as forces that reshaped her entirely.
