Unholy Confessions [Light Yagami]

This is a tale about Emily Johnson, a girl who moves from Los Angeles to Japan because of her father's sins. She meets Light Yagami, a boy with perfect grades and normal life, and becomes close friends with him.

However, several months later, Light discovers the Death Note, leaving Emily to wonder what had gotten her friend acting so different. However, is it possible that she is also hiding something from her good friend? Of not only of her past but of something greater?
