Fate seems to knock on the door of Katherine Rose in the most unexpected times and ways. Five years ago ,moving to London to forget about her unrequited love but  stumbling upon a love interest was the last thing on her mind.
For someone who has been unfortunate in the matter of love, she develops an instant connection with Heath Crawford and before she knows, she finds herself caught into a whirlwind romance. 
Katherine had her whole life mapped out but was unaware about fate having some other plans.
With one phone call, her whole life comes crashing down. When the support of her family was what she needed the most, she pushed everyone away and solely focuses on bringing the only connection she had with her love to the world, their child. 
For the rest of the world Katherine seemed to moving on with her life, but Katherine has never been the one to face her problems, she runs from it.
When everything in her life seems to be falling apart, she realizes she needs to deal with her problems and flies back to California.
What will Katherine do when fate brings all of her problems that she has run away from at once from her past to her present. Will she be able to deal with it?
What will see do when someone is intrigued by her. Will she take a leap or let the second chance go??
